Dubai – flydubai has announced a strategic partnership‌ with Boeing to deliver⁢ comprehensive training programs for its pilots and⁢ maintenance personnel.The agreements, unveiled ahead of the Dubai Airshow 2025, will⁢ focus ​on junior pilots, those in initial evaluation, and flydubai’s skilled maintenance​ teams.

The core of the partnership lies in Boeing’s Competency-Based Training‌ and ⁢Assessment (CBTA) program. This approach prioritizes demonstrable skills and utilizes data-driven scenarios to improve training effectiveness. Boeing will also⁤ provide consulting services to assist ‌flydubai in implementing these programs.

“We are committed to⁤ integrating the⁣ latest technologies​ and leading services to ensure our training capabilities meet the highest international standards,” saeid Captain Ahmed Bin ‌Hazim, Senior Vice President of Flight operations and Crew Training at flydubai. “Boeing’s CBTA programs offer our pilots and ​engineers a modern, performance-based framework for ‍continuous ⁤development, ‌enhancing safety, operational efficiency, and ‍confidence.”

flydubai currently employs over 6,700 people, including 1,400 pilots and‌ 640 engineers, operating a fleet of 96⁢ Boeing 737 aircraft.​ this investment in training⁣ builds on flydubai’s recent opening of its dedicated flight training center and the launch of its basic pilot training program,demonstrating a strong commitment to‍ developing its workforce.

Chris Broome, Vice President of ‌Training solutions at boeing Global Services, highlighted flydubai’s commitment to safety and quality. “These agreements demonstrate flydubai’s proactive leadership in prioritizing safety and quality ​through effective and intensive ⁤training programs,” he​ stated. “We look forward to collaborating with flydubai to ⁢deliver these comprehensive services to their employees.”
