The company announced today that its “Flight Deals” program, which proactively alerts users to price drops on flights they’re tracking, is now available in more countries. Simultaneously,Google is rolling out “agentic booking” – the ability for its AI to complete bookings on a user’s behalf – to all U.S. users for restaurants and to Labs users for event tickets and local appointments.
This expansion marks a key step in Google’s ambition to become a extensive travel planning hub, leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline the frequently enough-complex process of booking flights, accommodations, and experiences.
