## Nintendo Life mailbox: 3D Mario Predictions, Gaming Redemptions, Grammer Talk

This⁣ month’s‌ inbox dives into hopes⁢ for the next 3D Mario, revisits gaming experiences ⁣that found redemption, and even tackles a bit ⁣of ⁢grammatical debate. Plus, a stern talking-to for a particularly ‌vague correspondent…

Subject: 3D mario – What do *you* want?

I’m already getting hyped for the next 3D Mario! I’ve been replaying Super Mario Odyssey and ⁤it’s still ⁢astounding, but I’m hoping the next one ‍leans a little more into ⁢the open-ended exploration of Super Mario ‌64. Less structured levels, more secrets to find, and a bigger emphasis on movement. What does⁤ the Nintendo Life team think we’ll get?

– Liam

that’s a ⁤great point, Liam! We’ve definitely had a lot of discussion about what⁢ the next 3D Mario should be. The‌ balance between Odyssey‘s focused worlds and 64‘s freedom is a tricky one, but we’re all hoping for something ‌that feels fresh and innovative. – Ed.

Subject: ‌Redemption Arc – metroid⁤ Prime: Federation Force

I remember absolutely *hating* Metroid Prime: Federation Force when it first came out. I was so disappointed it wasn’t a proper‍ Metroid Prime game. But I recently picked ⁢it up again on a whim, and… I actually had a lot of fun! It’s a surprisingly solid‌ co-op shooter, and the Federation force characters are endearing in their own way. It’s a redemption arc for a game I initially dismissed.

– Ben

It’s fantastic to here ⁣you gave Federation Force another chance, Ben! It’s a game that definitely suffered from initial expectations,⁣ but it’s⁣ a genuinely enjoyable experience if you go in with an open mind.⁣ – Ed.

Subject: Grammar Police – “less” vs. “Fewer”

I noticed a slight grammatical⁤ error in a recent article – the use of “less” when ‍”fewer” would have been‌ correct. “Less” is for uncountable nouns, while ‍”fewer” is for countable ones.Just thought I’d point it out!

– Dennis

You are absolutely correct, Dennis! We strive for accuracy in all ⁢our articles, and we appreciate ⁢you pointing out our mistake. We’ll be sure to be more ‌careful in the future. – Ed.

Subject: …Something about data?

Randall

As in data from the‍ cosmos⁢ or just really top-notch data collection? dennis might have been off-topic,⁢ but at least he was clear. Please be more specific with your spam, Randall. – Ed.
