Dubai International Financial Center Hosts Landmark 20th “Nights of Art”
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is once again transforming into a vibrant cultural hub with the launch of its 20th “Nights of Art” event, running until November 16th. This year’s edition features over 200 artworks from 150 artists representing 100 countries, solidifying the DIFC’s position as a leading force in the region’s artistic and cultural landscape.
“Nights of Art” brings together thought leaders and the community through immersive experiences, public art displays, and inspiring discussions, celebrating creativity under the Dubai skyline. Highlights include the launch of “Fadaa,” a groundbreaking immersive exhibition by elivision and Canvas, under the artistic direction of Astrid Lessois, which will transform the Gate Village area with captivating light and movement.
The event also showcases live artistic creation, with the Phoenix Art Group celebrating a decade of creativity within the DIFC and artist Nour Bazarbashi performing a live art show. Digital art takes center stage with the UAE debut of Tim Christie’s ”Naudius,” a sensory journey of visual and sound effects, alongside four other captivating digital performances.
A series of insightful discussions, hosted by Christie’s House and Z Arts, will feature prominent figures including Alia Al Zarouni (DIFC Authority COO), Emirati artist Azza al Qubaisi, Natalia Al Mansour (Slovenian Ambassador to the UAE), Itziar Salgado (Christie’s Middle East), and Zahira Muthi (Z arts Founder).
“Nights of Art” continues its commitment to nurturing emerging talent through an open call for submissions, judged by a specialized artistic panel. The event proudly spotlights Emirati artists like Fayza Mohammed Hassan, Fares Al Kaabi, and Dr. Souad Al Shamsi, alongside works from leading galleries such as Perrotin and Opera Gallery.
Visitors can enjoy live performances, family workshops, and musical events throughout the four evenings, as the Gate Village area comes alive with creativity.
Supported by Christie’s, Dubai Culture, “Art Connects Women,” Elivision, and Canvas, with hospitality partner Gaya, ”Nights of Art” exemplifies the DIFC’s dedication to fostering a dynamic intersection of art, business, and innovation through pioneering initiatives and strategic partnerships.
