PlayStation State of Play November 2025: Major Announcements Recap

Tokyo, Japan – playstation’s State of Play broadcast today unveiled a range of upcoming titles and hardware, including release dates and beta data for highly anticipated games.
Octopath Traveler 0
Square Enix showcased octopath Traveler 0, a prequel to the acclaimed RPG. The presentation highlighted the game’s combat action and introduced several villains. A demo is now available, with save data transferable to the full game. Octopath Traveler 0 is scheduled for release on December 4th, 2025.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
Marvel’s foray into the fighting game genre, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, was featured with a new trailer revealing playable characters such as Spider-man and Ghost Rider. New stages, including X-Manison and savage Lands, were also previewed. A closed beta will run from December 5th to December 7th, 2025.

Elden Ring nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC
FromSoftware’s multiplayer spinoff, Elden Ring Nightreign, released in May 2025, will receive its first DLC, The Forsaken Hollows. The release date was confirmed for December 4th, 2025, following an earlier announcement by parent company Kadokawa. The trailer showcased new monsters, including angelic foes and a “dead tree man” character, and also a glimpse of a new playable character wielding both magic and a sword.

New Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging hook
PlayStation also revealed a new gaming monitor featuring an integrated DualSense controller charging hook. Currently, the monitor will only be available in Japan and the United States.
