EU Develops Post-War Defense plan for ukraine, Aiming for 2030 Self-Sufficiency
Brussels – Teh European Union is formulating a comprehensive plan to bolster Ukraine‘s defense capabilities and provide long-term security assurances following the conclusion of the current conflict.The strategy, revealed by the EU’s top military advisor General Sean Clancy, envisions deploying military trainers to Ukraine and forms part of a wider EU initiative to enhance its own defense independence by 2030.
This move underscores a growing European commitment to regional security, alongside NATO, spurred by Russia‘s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
