Fujifilm’s Instax Mini LiPlay Lets Photos Speak with Recorded Audio
Jakarta,Indonesia – Fujifilm Indonesia has launched the Instax Mini LiPlay and Mini LiPlay instant cameras,introducing a new dimension to instant photography: sound. The cameras allow users to record up to 10-second audio clips linked to printed photos, playable by scanning a code on the print.
The technology aims to capture memories beyond visuals, preserving the atmosphere and context of a moment thru accompanying audio. Fujifilm’s President Director, Masato Yamamoto, stated the company’s goal is to “immortalize the moment, not only through visuals, but also through audio recordings.” The Instax sound album feature further enhances this capability, enabling users to create slideshow-style videos combining up to 10 photos with adjustable background sound.
The Instax Mini LiPlay is priced at Rp. 3,488,000 and also features selfie capabilities with a rear camera and LCD screen for easy composition and review. A wide-angle lens facilitates group photos, and a layered photo mode allows combining images from both front and rear cameras. Users can select photos for printing from either the camera’s screen or thier smartphones, choosing between soft or vibrant “Instax-rich” colour modes. The camera supports 13 frame designs and 60 additional options via a companion application, with printed photos savable to smartphones for social media sharing.
