Kangaroos name Team for Third Ashes Test wiht Isaah Yeo Returning
BRISBANE, November 2, 2025 - The Australian Kangaroos have announced their squad for the third and final Test against England in the 2025 Ashes series, with Isaah Yeo reinstated as the sole change. The team aims to complete a series sweep after securing victories in the first two matches.
The return of captain Isaah Yeo marks the only alteration to the side that won the second test,with six players omitted from selection. The Kangaroos currently hold a 2-0 led in the series and are determined to finish with a clean sweep on home soil. Coach Mal Meninga acknowledged the difficulty of making changes to a winning team, stating, “You never want to give away your jersey, but on the flip side is you’d love to give the boys who haven’t played an opportunity because they’ve been fantastic for us. I think there was a fair bit of swinging both ways but in the end we’re all in on this.” Meninga emphasized the team’s ambition, adding, “We want to try and make it 3-0, that’s really important for this group.”
