Hudson’s Detroit to Host New Restaurant from union Square Hospitality Group,Founded by Danny Meyer
DETROIT – Hudson’s Detroit,the landmark skyscraper currently under development,will welcome a new restaurant concept from Union square Hospitality Group (USHG),the acclaimed hospitality company founded by Danny Meyer,in 2026. The addition signals a notable investment in Detroit’s burgeoning culinary scene and further cements the building’s position as a premier destination.
USHG, known for its portfolio of award-winning establishments including The View, Gramercy Tavern, and The Modern, has earned 28 James Beard Awards over the years. While details about the Detroit restaurant remain limited, the project underscores the growing national recognition of the city’s vibrant food and beverage landscape. Hudson’s detroit is also set to house a luxury Edition Hotel and 96 condos on floors 26 through 45.
“Detroit has the best restaurants and chefs in the country, and the arrival of Union Square Hospitality Group signals that the world has taken notice,” said Andrew Leber, senior vice president of hospitality at Bedrock, in a press release. “Hudson’s Detroit is creating new and unforgettable experiences for everyone, further solidifying the city as a must-see destination.”
Prior to USHG’s arrival, Hudson’s will welcome One two three, a French café truck from the team behind Cafe Underground, on Nov. 6. The café will be located along Nick gilbert way and offer coffee and pastries from local suppliers.
