Disney+ adn Hulu Premiere ‘Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation‘ – A New Anime Based ​on Popular Mobile Game

Fans of the Disney twisted-Wonderland mobile game and anime enthusiasts‌ alike have a new series to binge,⁤ as Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation began streaming February 28, 2024, on both Disney+ and Hulu. The anime adapts the popular rhythm-and-battle mobile game developed by Aniplex,bringing its unique reimagining of classic disney villains to life.

The series ⁤follows a young protagonist mysteriously drawn into the magical world of‌ Twisted Wonderland,comprised of seven dormitories each inspired by a different Disney villain. To find a way home, the protagonist must navigate this strange land and unravel its secrets‍ alongside⁣ a cast of compelling characters-the children ⁤of iconic Disney antagonists. Season one covers the events‍ of the Heartslabyul dormitory storyline, introducing viewers⁢ to the world ‍and ⁤its central conflicts.

Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation boasts a talented creative team. Takahiro Natori serves as chief Director/Showrunner, ⁤with Shin Katagai directing. Yoichi Kato is the main writer, and ⁤Hanaka Nakano and ⁢Akane Sato ‌are the character designers. ⁤The anime ⁤is a production of Yumeta Company and Graphinica, with⁢ music by Takumi Ozawa and Aniplex handling music production.

The voice cast features notable performers bringing the characters to ⁢life. The ‌opening theme, “Piece of my world,” is‌ performed by Night Ravens, while⁣ Heartslabyul Dorm contributes the ending theme, “Obedience.”

The anime is ⁢based on the original concept of Yana Toboso, who also provided the original⁤ concept, script, and character design for the Disney Twisted-Wonderland video game. A manga ⁢adaptation, Disney twisted-Wonderland: The Comic – Episode‍ of Heartslabyul, with storyboards by Wakana Hazuki and⁤ art by Sumire Kowono, published by Square ⁢Enix in G Fantasy magazine, also⁤ serves as source material.
