When the Hulu drama series Pam & Tommy came out, it didn’t live up to expectations of “rehabilitating” Pamela Anderson, but rather added fuel to the fire of her private scandal with Tommy Lee.
Pamela, a love story – a documentary made with the participation of Pamela herself, takes on the task of introducing the real Pam. “I hope my story inspires people to live their lives and not worry so much,” Anderson, 55, told The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is a Netflix production, directed by Ryan White, and will be released to coincide with the publication of his autobiography, Love, Pamela. The book is just one of the topics in it, along with his role in the Broadway musical Chicago, her relationship with her children, and his love life.
For the first time, he will openly comment on Pam & Tommy, as well as his relationships with Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. “No one knows the truth – I don’t know 100% what happened either, but it’s more important to me to share my feelings, how much it hurt me and how much it determined my future life – as a career and as relationships,” says Pamela on how the scandal with her homemade sex tapes with Tommy Lee has affected her, writes lifestyle.bg
Pamela, A Love Story will follow all of her romances, including her recent divorce. A special part of the film will be dedicated to her two sons: 26-year-old Brandon and 24-year-old Dylan.
“I’m a hopeless romantic and romance is a tragedy,” says Pamela Anderson. And she adds: “I believe in fairy tales”.
Pamela, a love story debuts January 31 on Netflix.
