Motorola Edge 70: Ultra-Slim Design, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and €799 Price Tag Confirmed for Italy
Milan, italy – October 28, 2023 – Motorola today unveiled the full specifications and pricing for the Edge 70, a new smartphone prioritizing a sleek design and balanced performance. The device, boasting an incredibly slim 6mm profile and weighing just 159 grams, will be available in Italy starting November 5th.
The Edge 70 distinguishes itself with its aeronautical-grade aluminum chassis, Gorilla Glass 7i frontal protection, and a textured nylon back available in Pantone-validated colors: Gadget Gray, Lilly Pad, and Bronze Green. Despite its thin form factor, Motorola has incorporated MIL-STD 810H durability certifications.The phone features a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2712×1220 resolution, also Pantone validated for color accuracy.
Under the hood, the Edge 70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s software customizations. Photography is handled by a triple 50MP camera system – a 50MP main wide-angle lens (f/1.8, 24mm), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.0, 12mm, PDAF), and a 50MP front-facing camera.
To achieve the ultra-slim design, Motorola opted for a 4,800 mAh battery, offering up to 29 hours of video playback. The Edge 70 supports 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Motorola Edge 70 will be available in a single configuration – 12GB RAM and 512GB storage – at a retail price of €799. Launch promotions include a choice of a free Moto tag, Moto Buds Loop earphones, Moto Watch Fit smartwatch, or an additional 68W charger.
