Tesla Significantly Expands Hungarian charging Network with Six New Supercharger Locations
Budapest, Hungary – October 24, 2025 – Tesla owners in Hungary gained access to a substantially expanded fast-charging network today, with the simultaneous appearance of six new Supercharger stations on Tesla’s official map. The additions represent a major step forward in electric vehicle infrastructure within the country, addressing range anxiety and bolstering the practicality of Tesla ownership for both current and prospective buyers.
The new stations are located in strategic areas to improve connectivity across Hungary, including sites in Miskolc, Székesfehérvár, and along major transit routes. This expansion directly benefits the growing community of Hungarian Tesla drivers,as well as those traveling through the region. Gábor Szűcs, an electric car driver since 2017 and a pillar member of the Electric Car Association, highlighted the importance of accessible charging infrastructure, stating that it’s crucial not only for vehicle operation but also for broader environmental sustainability-extending to household energy production and food sources.
The newly added Supercharger locations include:
* Miskolc: Enhancing charging options in northeastern Hungary.
* Székesfehérvár: Providing coverage in the Transdanubian region.
* Other locations: Details of the remaining four sites where not immediatly available.
This rapid deployment of Superchargers reflects Tesla’s ongoing commitment to building out its global charging network, a key component of its strategy to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Hungary’s increasing adoption of electric vehicles, coupled with government incentives and growing environmental awareness, has created a favorable habitat for this investment. The expansion is expected to further stimulate EV sales and encourage long-distance travel within the country.
