Potential Complications from Recent Cosmetic Surgery Under Scrutiny in ‘Baby Demoni‘ Death Investigation
Bogotá, Colombia – Authorities investigating the death of Colombian influencer Ángela Patricia Jaramillo, known online as ‘Baby Demoni,’ are focusing on potential links between her recent cosmetic surgery and the circumstances surrounding her passing. The 24-year-old content creator was found dead under ”strange circumstances,” prompting an investigation that now includes scrutiny of a recent liposuction procedure.
The case has gripped Colombia, raising concerns about the safety of cosmetic procedures and the pressures faced by social media personalities. Jaramillo’s death impacts her large online following and underscores the risks associated with elective surgeries, particularly when complications arise. Investigators are working too determine if the surgery played a direct role in her death and what protocols were followed during and after the procedure.
According to a friend of the influencer, identified as ‘@ChinchePB,’ Jaramillo underwent liposuction days before her death and experienced multiple complications. In a TikTok live video, the friend stated that Jaramillo suffered “two cardiovascular arrests” following the surgery.
“She was enduring all the pain and it wasn’t just any surgery, it was liposuction. Imagine enduring that pain,” @ChinchePB said.
The friend also alleged that the pain pump intended to manage Jaramillo’s postoperative discomfort was malfunctioning, exacerbating her suffering. Authorities are currently investigating these claims as part of their broader inquiry into the cause of death.
