Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Columbus Prompts Police Investigation
Columbus, OH – November 21, 2023 – Columbus police are requesting the public’s assistance following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Hilliard Rome Road and Roberts Road that resulted in two fatalities. The incident occurred earlier today, and authorities are seeking information that could aid their investigation.
Both the motorcycle passenger and operator died as a result of their injuries. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the operator was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries but succumbed to those injuries.The driver of the honda involved was uninjured and cooperated with police at the scene. This crash underscores the vulnerability of motorcyclists and the potential for tragic outcomes on Columbus roadways. The Columbus Division of Police’s Accident Investigation unit is leading the inquiry, aiming to determine the circumstances that led to the collision and prevent similar incidents in the future.
