A video posted to TikTok by three tourists from Catalonia documented the discovery of a broken rear car window after their visit, as reported by La Provincia newspaper.
The vehicle was parked on the shoulder of the GC-550 highway. While it remains unconfirmed whether any items were stolen,the damage is expected to be costly due to high damage fees typically charged by car rental companies.
The TikTok video has garnered significant attention, nearing a million views (currently over 925,000), and prompted widespread condemnation. Some commenters have linked the incident to growing frustration with mass tourism and perceived disrespectful behavior by visitors.
