BOSTON,MA - July 29,2024 - The Free Software Foundation (FSF) is calling on volunteers to assist with fulfilling a surge in orders from the GNU Press shop and mailing associate member materials. Supporters worldwide are anticipating deliveries, and the FSF needs assistance to get them shipped promptly.
Volunteers will be packing and labeling GNU Press orders and preparing mailings for FSF associate members. The volunteer event will take place in the lobby at 101 Arch St,Boston,MA,02110. The location is easily accessible via public transportation, with Downtown Crossing being the closest MBTA station and South Station a ten-minute walk away.
A volunteer session is scheduled for Monday, August 11, from 14:00 to 18:00. If this date doesn’t work, individuals are encouraged to email the FSF with their availability, and a suitable time will be arranged.
