A documentary focusing on Melania Trump will arrive in movie theaters nationwide on January 30, 2026, Amazon MGM Studios announced Thursday, marking a meaningful theatrical push for the streaming giant.The film offers an inside look at the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration.
The feature-length “Melania” will provide exclusive footage of critical meetings, private conversations, and previously unseen environments, detailing Mrs. Trump’s return to public life and orchestration of inauguration plans. A three-episode docuseries on the same subject will also stream on Prime video following the theatrical run. According to the official synopsis, the film showcases Mrs. Trump navigating the complexities of the White House transition and re-entering “one of the world’s most powerful roles.”
Directed by Brett Ratner, this marks the filmmaker’s first project as allegations of sexual assault surfaced in 2017, leading Warner Bros. to sever ties with his production company, RatPac.
