Orlando Pride Transfer Forward Prisca Chilufya to Angel City FC for $50,000 and Roster Spot
ORLANDO, Fla. – October 9, 2025 – The Orlando Pride have announced a significant intra-league transfer, sending forward Prisca Chilufya to Angel City FC in exchange for $50,000 in 2025 transfer funds and an international roster spot. The move allows the Pride to strategically adjust their roster for the upcoming season.

Chilufya joined the Pride ahead of the 2025 season from FC Juarez of Liga MX Feminil. During her time in Orlando,the Zambian international made 20 appearances across all competitions,scoring two goals and providing one assist.
The forward proved to be a clutch performer, netting a dramatic late equalizer against the North Carolina Courage on May 10th, heading home a corner kick in stoppage time. She repeated this feat against the Utah Royals on August 3rd, scoring in the 72nd minute to secure a 1-1 draw. Chilufya also showcased her playmaking ability with an assist in the Concacaf W Champions Cup, setting up a julie Doyle goal in a dominant 5-0 victory over Chorrillo FC.
