Actor Florian Teichtmeister Arrested After Cocaine Found at Oktoberfest, Violating Probation
MUNICH/VIENNA – Austrian actor florian Teichtmeister, previously convicted of child pornography offenses, was arrested in austria following a cocaine possession incident at the Munich Oktoberfest, authorities confirmed Sunday. The arrest stems from a violation of his suspended sentence and probation requirements.
Teichtmeister, 45, was sentenced in September 2023 to a two-year prison term – suspended - for collecting and distributing tens of thousands of files containing child abuse imagery. The sentence included mandatory therapies and regular drug testing, with a potential placement in a specialized facility for offenders with mental health needs should he fail to comply. Bavarian police alerted Austrian judicial authorities after discovering the cocaine, triggering his arrest.
“He violated the requirements of his probation,” stated a spokeswoman for the Vienna State Court. Teichtmeister’s lawyer confirmed the arrest, adding that the actor possessed a small amount of cocaine for personal use.
According to the court spokeswoman, Teichtmeister will undergo a “crisis intervention” at a specialized centre for several weeks, a period that could be extended. His lawyer noted this was Teichtmeister’s first violation of the judgment, framing the situation as a setback in the actor’s ongoing therapy for drug addiction, describing it as “a tedious way.”
Teichtmeister is known for his role as a TV investigator in the series “Die Toten von Salzburg.”
