Massive Berlin Protest demands End to German Support for Israel‘s ‌Gaza‌ Campaign

Berlin,‍ Germany – Over 100,000 people took to​ the streets of Berlin ​on ⁣Saturday, in⁢ a powerful presentation against German​ support for Israel’s‌ military ⁤actions in Gaza. The rally,organized⁢ by ‌a coalition of approximately 50 groups including pro-Palestinian organizations,Medico International,adn Amnesty International,centered on⁤ the⁣ demand to⁤ “Stop the genocide in‍ Gaza.”

Protesters marched from Berlin City Hall to the Grosser Stern, carrying signs reading ‍”Freedom for Palestine,” “Never again for all,” and “Stop the genocide in Gaza,” while chanting slogans like “Free, free Palestine” and “Viva Palestine.”‌ The demonstration reflects growing international concern over the escalating humanitarian crisis‌ and mounting civilian casualties in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

Organizers issued a​ strong statement accusing the⁤ German​ government of⁣ “complicity” in what ⁢they describe ⁣as a genocidal war.They specifically‌ called for an ⁢immediate cessation of all military cooperation with Israel, including the⁣ halting of arms exports, ammunition transfers, and the transit of military equipment. ‌

Ines schwerdtner, chairwoman of the Left Party, addressed the crowd,⁤ echoing the accusations of genocide and criticizing the German government’s ​stance.
