Everybody’s Golf: Clap Hanz’s Frustration with Hot Shots

Original Everybody’s Golf Developer⁢ Asks Fans to Stop‍ Contacting Them About Hot Shots

Fans frustrated with the state ‌of Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots on playstation are mistakenly directing ⁣their complaints to Clap Hanz,‌ the original developer of the⁣ Everybody’s ⁣golf franchise, the studio has⁢ revealed.Despite⁣ a‍ long history with the‍ series, Clap‌ Hanz was‍ not involved in‌ the ‌progress of Hot Shots, adn is now requesting fans cease contacting them for support.

the ‌plea‍ comes as a result of a surge in inquiries following ‌the ‌game’s recent issues, ‌with many fans seemingly unaware of⁣ the studio’s limited role in the current iteration. Clap Hanz CEO ‍Masashi⁣ Muramori ‌addressed ⁤the situation in a statement posted to ‌X ⁣(formerly Twitter) on September 26, 2025, acknowledging the continued connection fans feel to the ⁤studio due to their work on previous Everybody’s Golf ⁢titles.

“Please note that due to our long-standing involvement in developing the Everybody’s⁢ Golf‌ franchise, we continue to receive questions and inquiries about Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots,” ‍Muramori wrote. “However, while we can provide necessary improvements and support for⁢ titles we developed directly in the past at the request of SIE, we were not involved in developing Everybody’s ⁢Golf Hot Shots. We kindly ask for ⁢your ⁢understanding.”

The situation highlights a complex ‌history between Sony Interactive‍ Entertainment (SIE) and ‌Clap Hanz. While Clap Hanz continues to develop golf games‍ – ⁣most recently Easy ‌Come Easy Golf on Nintendo Switch and mobile - a ⁢port⁤ to PlayStation 5 has not ⁢materialized. This, coupled with the closure of ‌japan Studio, wich previously produced the Everybody’s Golf series, appears to have ⁢contributed to the fractured⁢ relationship and fan ⁢confusion.
