Hartford Human Trafficking: 7 Arrests, 3 Girls Recovered

Seven Arrested in Hartford Human ⁢Trafficking Examination; Three juveniles Recovered

HARTFORD, CT – ⁣A collaborative investigation by the Hartford Police Department ‍and the Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Task Force has ⁣resulted in the arrest of seven⁣ individuals on charges related to human trafficking. The‌ declaration was made by police officials on Wednesday,‌ October ⁣22, 2025.

Those arrested include Ahmad Compton, James Williams, Bernard Mickens, Raheem Jones, Donovan Dun, Tyrod jackson, and Tahjay Wilson. Authorities have indicated ⁣that the suspects⁢ face a range of charges, ‌including ⁢trafficking persons and ​sexual assault.

Crucially, the investigation led to the safe recovery of three ⁣juvenile female victims who have as been reunited with their families.The operation marks a significant‌ step⁣ in combating human trafficking within the⁣ Hartford area.

The‍ investigation commenced in May​ 2025 following reports received by the Hartford Police ‌Department’s‌ Special Investigations‍ Division concerning‍ potential human trafficking activity. Following a thorough investigation,‍ probable cause was established,‌ and arrest affidavits were approved by the superior court.

As of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, ​all seven ‍suspects were in police⁣ custody. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the investigation remains ⁣ongoing, and further arrests are anticipated as the inquiry progresses.
