Collinson had travelled to ‌Spain for a weekend break and was⁤ due to return to the UK⁣ on⁤ Sunday, September 28th. When he failed to⁢ appear ⁤for his flight, his worried family alerted the police, initiating an investigation⁢ into his ‍whereabouts. The disappearance has‍ sparked concern ⁣as ‍Collinson has no known medical conditions that⁣ might explain his vanishing.

The‍ pensioner was reportedly enjoying a drink at a bar near his hotel when he was last ⁣sighted. Spanish police are currently ⁤reviewing CCTV footage from the area and interviewing potential witnesses to piece ⁤together his movements. His⁣ family are being kept updated on the progress ‌of the search and ⁣are appealing⁢ for any details ‍that could lead to his ⁢safe return.

“We ‌are extremely worried about Dennis,” a family member told The Sun. “He’s a fit and healthy man⁢ for his age and wouldn’t just disappear like this. We’re desperate to ⁣find him.”

The costa del sol is ‍a popular destination for British‌ tourists, and while incidents of this nature are rare, authorities are⁢ treating the case with‍ urgency. Anyone with ⁣information regarding Dennis Collinson’s disappearance is urged to contact the Spanish police or the British Consulate in Malaga.
