Divergent Technologies​ secures $290 Million to Bolster Military Parts Production

Amid‌ a growing wave ⁢of investment in defense technology, advanced manufacturing firm Divergent Technologies has announced a⁢ $290 million funding round to scale​ production of critical components for the‍ U.S. military.

Investment Details and​ Company ‍Valuation

the funding, initially reported by Bloomberg, values ⁢Divergent Technologies at $2.3 ​billion. The round ‍includes $40 ⁣million in ‌debt financing.

Divergent already serves as ​a key supplier ⁢to major ⁤defense contractors, including Lockheed Martin, RTX, and General Dynamics.

Expansion Plans and Manufacturing Capabilities

The ​newly acquired capital ⁣will be used to expand Divergent’s existing manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, California, and ​to initiate construction of a new factory in ⁣Oklahoma,‌ slated to begin next year.‌

The company specializes in utilizing advanced 3D⁤ printing technology to produce ​up to 600⁣ parts. according to CEO and co-founder Lukas Czinger, metal missile airframes represent a⁢ core area ⁣of their expertise, stating ⁣they are ⁣the company’s “bread and butter.”
