Rams Dominate Titans,Showcase Emerging⁤ Stars and ‌Areas for Improvement

INGLEWOOD,Calif. – Teh ‌Los Angeles Rams delivered a commanding performance in Week 2, defeating the Tennessee Titans and highlighting both standout ‍players and areas needing refinement. The⁢ Rams’ defense proved disruptive, ⁢while key additions to the offense began to flourish.

STUD: LB Byron Young

Byron Young continued his extraordinary‍ start‌ to ⁢the season, anchoring the Rams’ defensive front. He finished the day with five tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble that set up Los Angeles on a short field, allowing them to take a two-score lead.

Kobie Turner, Josiah Stewart, and ⁢Kam Curl all contributed with sacks⁢ as well.

DUD: WR Tutu Atwell

Atwell struggled to make an impact in the Rams’ offense, finishing without a catch on one target. Quiet days are⁤ likely for the 2021 second-round pick unless ‍Davante Adams and Puka Nacua are limited.

STUD: QB Matthew Stafford

Stafford built upon ⁢a solid Week 1 with an even stronger performance, completing 69.7% of his passes for 298 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Despite a poor decision ‍leading to an interception late in the first half, Stafford moved up to seventh ⁤on the Rams’ all-time passing touchdown ⁤list.

DUD: DL Poona Ford

Ford had a ⁢quiet outing, recording just one tackle that wasn’t for a loss.⁣ The Rams’ front seven ⁢also allowed Tony Pollard to rush for 92 yards on 4.6 yards per attempt, a potential concern if the game had been⁣ closer.

STUD: WR Davante adams

Adams made a significant impact in his second game as a Ram, finishing with six receptions for 106 yards and ⁣a touchdown. While Stafford and Adams‍ were unable to connect on ‍seven targets, their developing chemistry is promising.

STUD: WR Puka Nacua

Nacua continued to demonstrate his versatility and impact, recording eight receptions for 91 yards and a 45-yard touchdown rush on fourth-and-1 in ‍the ⁢first quarter. He previously hauled in 10 passes for 130 yards in the season opener.
