Hard Rock Hotel at Worldwide Orlando unveils $40 Million Renovation
The Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort has completed a phased $40 million renovation, revitalizing the hotel known for its immersive music and entertainment experiences. Owned by a joint venture of Loews Hotels & Co, Universal Destinations & Experiences, and Hard rock International, the hotel is a key component of Universal Orlando’s Signature Collection.
The redesigned guest rooms draw inspiration from the vibrant hues of a California sunset,incorporating oranges,blues,and ambers alongside new driftwood accents and handmade macrame fixtures. KTGY, the design firm behind the project, aimed to create an evocative aesthetic that complements the hotel’s existing California modern mission-style exterior.
While introducing fresh elements, the renovation retains popular features cherished by returning guests, including the iconic record artwork adorning the walls and the celebrity height mirrors found in each room.
Beyond the updated accommodations, the Hard Rock Hotel continues to offer its signature experiences: a curated collection of music memorabilia, live music performances – including poolside DJs, weekly acoustic Brunch in The Kitchen, and the Velvet Sessions and Velvet Unplugged concert series.
Located in the heart of universal Orlando Resort, the hotel provides convenient access to all four theme parks – Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, and the upcoming universal Epic Universe – via a short walk, complimentary water taxi, or shuttle.
