Saudi Crown Prince Reaffirms Palestinian Rights, Pledges Support for Qatar
RIYADH – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman unequivocally stated that Gaza is Palestinian land and its people’s rights are “fixed,” condemning ongoing israeli attacks and pledging unwavering support for Qatar. The statements,made during a recent address,signal a strong Saudi position amid escalating regional tensions and international efforts toward a two-state solution.
the Crown Prince denounced “brutal aggression” against Qatar and the “continued brute attacks on the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza,” specifically citing concerns over starvation and forced displacement. He affirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to stand “with Qatar in all the measures you take without limit,and we harness all our capabilities to do so.” This declaration comes as Qatar faces criticism for its role in the ongoing conflict and underscores a deepening alliance between the two Gulf states.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman reiterated Saudi Arabia’s long-held position on the Israeli-palestinian conflict,stating,”The land of Gaza is Palestinian and its people’s right is fixed,and it is not extracted by aggression and dose not abolish threats.” He emphasized that protecting palestinian rights remains a priority for the Kingdom and vowed to work to prevent violations of those rights.
The Crown Prince also highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts to revitalize the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative, framing it as “an unprecedented path to achieve the Palestinian state.” He noted the increasing number of countries recognizing the State of Palestine and pointed to the recent international conference in New York aimed at implementing a two-state solution as evidence of growing international consensus.
