Peoria area High School Football Sees Blowout Victories and Close contests in Week 2
Peoria, IL – Week 2 of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) football season delivered a mix of dominant performances and tightly contested matchups across the Peoria area. Several teams secured decisive victories Friday, while others battled through close games, setting the stage for continued competition as the season progresses.

Peoria High defeated Peoria Notre Dame 58-31.
Richwoods topped manual 28-14. Dunlap shut out Rock Island 50-3.
Metamora beat LaSalle-Peru 32-20.
East Peoria dominated Springfield Lanphier 49-0.
Belleville East defeated Pekin 26-14. Galesburg won against Limestone 42-25.
Taylorville edged Canton 41-27.
Morton routed Chicago Heights Marian Catholic 38-7.
Washington narrowly defeated Troy Triad 21-14.
Farmington defeated Elmwood/Brimfield 58-6.
Eureka shut out St. Bede 35-0. Dee-Mack beat Tremont 42-13.

Bloomington Central Catholic shut out IVC 59-0.
