Lincoln ATM Robbery: Woman Loses Purse to Masked Suspect

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) ‌- A woman ​was robbed Friday ⁤night while seated in a vehicle near a south Lincoln ATM, police reported.

Officers responded‍ to⁤ a robbery call at approximately⁤ 10:30 p.m. at a wells Fargo Bank ATM located near⁢ 27th Street and Nebraska parkway. A 48-year-old woman was a passenger in the vehicle ⁤when an unknown male suspect⁢ approached and demanded her purse. the⁣ incident highlights the ⁢potential for crime even ⁢in ⁣everyday locations ‍and ⁤prompted an ongoing examination by the lincoln Police Department.

According to police, the suspect, wearing a ski mask, began banging on the vehicle’s window. When the woman lowered the window, the suspect forcibly took her purse and an undisclosed amount of cash, totaling⁤ around $110.
