Samsung Unveils Next-generation Sound Tower portable Speakers at IFA 2025

Berlin, Germany – September 5, 2025 – Samsung today announced the latest iteration of its Sound Tower portable speakers at IFA 2025, promising immersive audio adn dynamic lighting for any environment. The new sound Tower models – the ST50F and ST40F – are designed to deliver powerful sound, extended battery life, and a vibrant party atmosphere, both indoors and out.
Building on the success of previous Sound Tower releases,the 2025 models focus on enhanced portability and a more captivating audiovisual experience. Samsung aims to redefine portable party audio with a blend of power, design, and convenience.”The new Sound Tower is engineered to adapt its audio to match any setting, from backyard barbecues to packed dance floors,” a Samsung spokesperson stated.
Both models boast long-lasting battery performance,with the ST40F featuring a replaceable battery for uninterrupted use. Users can further expand their soundscape by connecting multiple compatible units via Auracast™ Group Play, or pairing two compatible Sound Towers using Stereo Play with True Wireless stereo (TWS) for a true left-right channel audio experience.
Immersive Lighting for Every Mood
The sound Tower’s Party Lights + system transforms gatherings with a dynamic light show. Featuring five mood presets and six dynamic lighting patterns, users can customize the atmosphere via the Samsung Sound Tower App. The system analyzes music beats and frequencies in real-time,activating dozens of LEDs synchronized to the rhythm. customizable options include Wave,Trail,Spark,Breeze,Flow,and Flare effects,ranging from ”Festival” to “Chill” moods.
LED lighting is strategically placed across five key areas of the speaker for a 360° effect:
Track light: A racetrack-style LED surrounding the woofer units.
Ring light: LEDs highlighting the tweeter units.
Line lights: Perimeter lights framing the speaker body.
Crystal lights: Located at the base and foot of the speaker.
handle light: Illuminates the control panel and provides a support for devices.
Beyond audio,the Sound Tower includes built-in DJ Booth and Karaoke modes,alongside a guitar input,transforming any space into a live performance stage.
