Brent Van Moer signs with Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team After Decade with lotto
[City, State] – [Date] - Brent Van Moer has joined the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, ending a ten-year tenure with the Lotto team. The move offers the Belgian rider a new environment to pursue victories adn rediscover an aggressive racing style.
Van MoerS recent career has seen both promise and setback. While 2021 delivered encouraging results, a hip fracture in July of that year sidelined him for much of 2022 during his recovery. In recent years,racing alongside Arnaud De Lie altered his role within his previous team,but ultimately helped rebuild his confidence.
“I look forward to finding out what working with new coaches, new sports directors, new nutritionists and other scientific staff members and new teammates can do to take that final step back to where I want to be,” Van Moer stated. “It’s an international team with lots of ambition and that gives me new energy. Frederik Frison told me it would be a good fit for me and in my conversations with Kurt Bogaerts and Doug Ryder that was soon confirmed. They have full confidence in me and that’s already a huge mental boost.”
