Kildare Photographer‘s Electric Picnic Image Wins Prestigious ⁤Award

Naas,County Kildare – September 3,2023 – A striking photograph capturing the vibrant atmosphere of the Electric Picnic festival has earned kildare-based photographer Julie Wren the⁤ overall prize in the recent Irish Professional Photographer of the Year awards.Wren’s winning image, a‌ dynamic shot of festival-goers enjoying the music, ⁢was selected from hundreds‍ of ⁢entries across multiple categories.

The award recognizes Wren’s remarkable⁣ skill ​in ⁢capturing a fleeting moment of joy and energy at the Stradbally, County Laois event, held August 18-20, 2023.⁤ The Irish Professional Photographer of the Year⁢ awards, presented annually by the Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA), are considered a benchmark of excellence within the Irish​ photographic community.
