German Insurers Ranked: Allianz Leads Quality Survey

HUK-Coburg Cedes Lead to​ Allianz in Annual Quality Survey

Munich,Germany – August 29,2024 – ​Allianz insurance has overtaken‍ HUK-coburg Insurance to ⁤claim the top position in the latest⁣ quality ranking of German insurers,according ⁤to data released today ⁣by YouGov and reported in Versicherungsjournal. This marks a shift in leadership​ after HUK-Coburg held the number one ⁣spot⁤ in the⁤ previous‌ year’s survey.

Allianz⁣ achieved ⁤a⁢ quality ⁢score of 72.8 ‌points, an improvement of nearly two‌ points from its previous result.HUK-Coburg,⁢ simultaneously occurring, saw its​ score decline​ by⁢ one point to 70.7. The quality ‌scores are calculated⁣ based on both positive and negative mentions of the brands,ranging from ⁣-100 (entirely negative) to ⁤+100 (entirely positive).

Top Five Insurers Ranked

Rounding out the top five are AXA insurance‍ (67.8⁣ points),LVM insurance (66.3 points), and ADAC insurance.⁤ AXA and LVM both moved up in the rankings, with AXA entering⁢ the top five⁣ from‍ outside it⁣ last year ⁣and LVM ‍moving ‍from⁢ third to fourth ⁣place.‍ Provincial Insurance⁣ and Württemberg Insurance have fallen out of‌ the top five.

Direct Insurers: Huk24 Remains Dominant

In the separate ranking ⁤for direct insurers, Huk24 AG continues ⁤to lead with a quality ​score of​ 64.8 points. Allianz Direct Insurance AG follows in second place with 58.7 points.

Broader Brand Quality Landscape

The performance of insurance brands pales in comparison to the leading brands ​across ‍all categories surveyed. Weleda (Personal Care &‍ Cosmetics) now leads the overall ranking with a score of 90.9‍ points, having climbed from third place. Andechs ​nature (Food)​ is second ⁤with 89.7 points, while Lavazza (Coffee) ranks third at‌ 88.5 points.
