Cambodia Exports Surge 18.4% in First 7 Months of 2025

Cambodia‘s Exports Jump 18.4% to $17.72 Billion in First Half of 2025

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – August 11, 2025 – Cambodia experienced a critically important surge in exports during the first seven months of 2025, reaching $17.72 billion. This represents an 18.4 percent increase compared to the $14.96 billion recorded during the same period last year, according to a report released Monday by the Ministry of Commerce.

Key Export Sectors and Destinations

The nation’s export portfolio is largely comprised of garments, footwear, and travel goods.Bicycles, car tires, and a growing range of agricultural products – including rice, rubber, cassava, cashew nuts, bananas, mangoes, and longans – also contributed substantially to the increase. The United States remains the largest single export market for Cambodian goods, followed by Vietnam, China, Japan, and Canada.
