Honor 400 Smart 5G: Europe’s New 5G Phone with Huge Battery

Honor Launches 400 Smart 5G: Prioritizing Battery Life in Affordable Segment

Jakarta,Indonesia – Honor has expanded its 400 series lineup with the release of the 400 Smart 5G,a new smartphone focused on delivering extended battery life and 5G connectivity at a competitive price point. While positioned as a more accessible option within the series, the 400 Smart 5G offers a modern design and a commitment to long-term software support.

The Honor 400 series, launched earlier this year, caters to a broad range of consumers. The 400 Smart 5G joins the existing models – the Honor 400 Lite 5G (featuring an AI Camera Button), the Honor 400, and the flagship Honor 400 Pro – each offering a different balance of features and performance.

Key Specifications and Performance

The Honor 400 smart 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This configuration is geared towards users prioritizing essential smartphone functions over demanding gaming or intensive multitasking. Compared to its siblings – the Honor 400 Lite 5G (MediaTek Dimensity 7025 ultra), the Honor 400 (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3), and the Honor 400 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3) – the 400 Smart 5G represents the entry point into the series.

The device runs on Android 15 with Honor’s Magic UI 9.0 interface, and Honor promises five years of security updates, ensuring longevity and protection against evolving threats.

Design and Features

The 400 Smart 5G features a 6.8-inch display with a punch-hole front-facing camera. The bezels are relatively thin, though the chin is slightly more pronounced. The rear of the phone is distinguished by a square-shaped camera module, differentiating it from the triangular designs found on othre Honor 400 series models.

The phone measures 166.89 x 76.8 x 8.39 mm and weighs 189 grams. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, IP64 certification for dust and splash resistance, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and a USB Type-C port. The front-facing camera is a 5MP sensor suitable for video calls and casual selfies.

Pricing and Availability

As of today, Honor has not announced official pricing for the 400 Smart 5G in Europe. Availability in global markets, including Indonesia, remains unconfirmed. However, given the release patterns of previous models, a launch in Indonesia is possible. The Honor 400 and 400 Lite are currently available in Indonesia, priced around Rp. 7 million and Rp. 4 million respectively.

If released in Indonesia, the Honor 400 Smart 5G is expected to be a competitive option in the entry-level 5G smartphone market, offering a compelling combination of battery life, modern design, and 5G connectivity.
