Arunachal Activists Protest: China Talks Needed for Siang Dam


Siang Dam Project Sparks Fierce Opposition amid Repression Claims

Activists are denouncing the state government’s handling of protests against the Siang Dam Project, citing a pattern of repression. thousands of paramilitary forces have reportedly been deployed to support the National Hydropower Corporation (NHPC Ltd) in its pre-feasibility studies for the project.
