Mastercard and EazyPay have expanded their partnership to offer advanced digital payment solutions to businesses in Bahrain, aiming to streamline transactions and enhance teh overall digital commerce experience.
A recent PYMNTS Intelligence report, titled “Virtual Mobility: How Mobile virtual Cards Elevate B2B Payments,” highlights the critically important advantages of virtual cards in business-to-business (B2B) transactions. The report found that these digital tools can bolster security, improve operational efficiency, and deliver a strong return on investment for companies processing payments to their suppliers. This aligns with the growing need for modernizing B2B payment processes, as a considerable percentage of businesses still rely on paper-based methods.
This latest collaboration builds upon a history of successful partnerships between Mastercard and EazyPay. In january 2023, the companies joined forces to enhance EazyPay’s eCommerce capabilities by integrating mastercard payment Gateway Services, now known as Mastercard Gateway. This integration aimed to provide a more robust and secure platform for online transactions.
Prior to this, in June 2021, Mastercard and eazypay collaborated to equip small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and micromerchants with essential online payment technologies. This initiative focused on providing these businesses with the tools and access to financial services necessary to participate effectively in the digital economy.
