Formula E is set to expand its global footprint in 2026, incorporating the Spanish capital, Madrid, and Miami, Florida, into its annual racing circuit.
The provisional calendar for the all-electric racing series in 2026, validated by the FIA, outlines a total of 18 races spread across 12 cities. The Miami E-Prix, tentatively scheduled for january 31, will be the second time the city hosts a Formula E event. This race will be held at the International Autodrome, situated around the Hard Rock Stadium, marking its debut at this venue.
Meanwhile, the Madrid E-Prix, currently slated for March 21, will represent the first time Formula E races in the Spanish capital.
The 2025-2026 season is slated to commence in December of this year in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and conclude with a double-header finale in London, UK, in August of the following year.
Other nations confirmed to host Formula E races include Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Monaco, China, and Japan.
Three race dates remain unassigned to specific host cities: june 20, July 4, and July 5, with the latter date designated for a doubleheader. Formula E has indicated that the locations for these races will be announced later this year.
