Latvia Names 20-Player Squad for European Championships
Latvia has announced its 20-player roster for the upcoming european championships, featuring a blend of emerging talent and established players. The squad includes athletes born in 2005 and 2006, with portrayal from various clubs both domestically and internationally.
The team’s composition highlights a strong contingent from Latvian clubs such as Riga Zeļi and the University of Latvia. Several players are also gaining valuable experience at collegiate and professional levels abroad, including in the United States (NJCAA) and Portugal.
The coaching staff for the european Championships will be led by Head Coach Ainārs Zvirgzdiņš, supported by coaches Uldis Švēde and Oskars Žurkovs. The physiotherapy team comprises Albert Putan and Victoria Osipenko.
