Emirates Airlines Resumes Flights to Damascus

Emirates airline currently operates flights to 14 cities across the Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, with a total of 194 weekly flights.

The delegation on this trip included the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Emirates Space Agency, Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Hamid Balah Al-Falasi. Representatives from Emirates Airline on the delegation were: Adel Al-Rida, Vice President and CEO of Operations; Sheikh Majid Al mualla, Vice President of international Relations; adel Al-Ghaith, Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Central Region; sami Aqeel, Deputy Chairman of Airport Services; Nick Moore, Vice President of Travelers operations; and Ahmed Thursday, Vice President for Air affairs.

Also accompanying the delegation were: Omar bin Ghaleb, Deputy Director general of the general Authority of Civil Aviation in the UAE; Obaid Saif Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Aviation Security Sector and accident Inquiry at the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; Hamad Ibrahim Issa Taher, head of Aviation Security at the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; and Ahmed Saqr Al-Marri from the Dubai Group Security department, Dubai Police. A number of UAE media representatives were also present.
