VR espionage sequel promises innovative stealth action.
Gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of Unseen Diplomacy 2, and Triangular Pixels is building anticipation by revealing a brand-new extended trailer at the UploadVR Summer Showcase today. The studio aims to deliver thrilling physical gameplay with inventive gadgets and stealth action.
Behind the Scenes
According to Katie Goode, Creative Director at Triangular Pixels, “We’re excited to reveal more of Unseen Diplomacy 2 in the Upload VR Showcase, with extended gameplay that shows how your whole home can become the mission space. Mixed reality has always been a key part of the experience, letting players blend the spy world into their everyday surroundings. As we get closer to launch, we can’t wait for players to step into their own spy stories soon.”
In Unseen Diplomacy 2, players manage an elite agency in a retro-futuristic 1990s setting, undertaking field missions to steal intel and sabotage enemy plans. Players will physically engage by crawling and dodging, using gadgets like wire clippers and disguises. The game features procedurally generated levels tailored to the player’s space and actions, ensuring a unique experience each time.
Strategic Spymaster Gameplay
Beyond the stealth action, players must manage their agency by recruiting agents and deploying them on high-stakes missions. These missions aim to counter rogue corporations and secret organizations, and player choices will influence the path to success. The global video game market is projected to reach $340 billion by 2027, indicating a strong consumer interest in innovative gaming experiences like Unseen Diplomacy 2 (Statista).
