Today, this work acquires a new scope: Doña Panchita will be in charge of the Traditional Medicine Office of the IMSS Welfare Hospital in Vícam Switch, the first in its kind in Mexico approved by COFEPRIS.
In this space, the ancestral knowledge of the Yaqui people will be combined with the support of conventional medicine, offering patients a comprehensive healing approach.
Herbs, medicinal plants and traditional techniques which have been used for centuries by the Yaqui community will be a fundamental part of the treatment in this single office in the country.
