Assist has been on the process of developing Korea Youth Basketball since 2022. The Gimpo New Year Basketball Class Director of the Gimpo New Year’s Association, which is working on this project, joined the Gimpo Education Support Agency for two days of youth basketball festival to revitalize youth basketball.
The KNP chairman, who served as the chairman of the Gimpo City Basketball Association, held the 2025 Gimpo Education Support Office & Gimpo City Basketball Association’s Sports Club Basketball Competition at the Gimpo City Gulpo Dam Tree Gymnasium on the 5th and 6th. The competition was held to revitalize the school sports club in Gimpo City.
The competition, which was held to promote cooperation and personality through the health of elementary, middle and high school students in Gimpo City and the spread of a healthy sports culture, was held in a hot atmosphere with a total of 45 teams in men and women in elementary, middle and high schools.

As it was a school sports club competition held in Gimpo, where youth basketball is activated, the economic level was also high. Some of the players who have been active together in the same basketball class have played in their schools and played the team’s colleagues.
The competition, which was also participated in the students who did not attend the general youth basketball class and learned basketball only at school, participated in the competition with the active help of the Gimpo Education Support Agency and the Gimpo Basketball Association, and the participants also showed their best in the game.
The tournament, which was held for 10 minutes in the first and second half of the year, was held in two days with a tournament, where 45 teams had to play, and all games were held as FIBA rules.
The competition, which aims to promote students’ physical strength and cultivate community awareness, will be able to contribute to the expansion of the educational community in Gimpo City by strengthening cooperation between local sports institutions and schools.
In the tournament and the fierce competition, Sky Light Elementary School and full elementary school won the men’s and women’s elementary school championship. In the men’s and women’s high school, where the most fierce competition was held, long -term and Gochon High School won the championship and decorated the competition.

The players representing each school have become very high thanks to the school’s honor. It was a power, ”he expressed satisfaction with the competition.
