ICC Announces New Leaders for Global Marketing Body
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has announced its new leadership for the Global Marketing and Advertising Commission. The team will serve a three-year term, guiding responsible marketing practices worldwide.
New Leadership Team
Following a global call for nominations, the ICC has confirmed the following individuals for leadership positions:
- Chair: Alice Himsworth, Senior Counsel at Google (United Kingdom)
Vice-Chairs:
- Ludovic Basset, Director General, European Advertising Standards Alliance (Belgium)
- Jeffrey A. Greenbaum, Managing Partner, Frankfurt Kurnit Klein and Selz PC (United States)
- Alexander Montgomery, Principal Corporate Counsel, Microsoft (United States)
- Gabriel Peeradon, Founder and Regional Managing Director, Yell International (Thailand)
- Victoria N. Uwadoka, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability Lead, Nestlé (Nigeria)
Continuing their roles as commission Vice-chairs are Fayola Ferdinand, Director, Global Policy and Sustainability, Coca-Cola (United States), and Karolina Gutiez, Corporate Communications Senior Manager, Schneider Electric (Brazil).
ICC’s Vision
The ICC’s Global Marketing and Advertising Commission aims to shape responsible marketing practices on a global scale. This is crucial considering a recent study revealing that 77% of consumers believe brands should demonstrate their commitment to ethical marketing (WARC 2023).
