iPhone Case Displays Moving Images on Its Back
Customizable LED screen personalizes device.
A new iPhone case called Picdance is turning heads with its integrated LED screen, allowing users to display pixelated animations and moving images on the back of their device. This innovative accessory offers a fresh way to personalize your phone.
Innovative Design and Functionality
Developed through a collaboration between **Kiwidesign** and Picdance, this sleek case measures only 3.6 millimeters thick, a surprisingly thin profile considering it houses a fully functional screen. Users can easily change the displayed image, create their own pixel art, and even synchronize the lights with music.
Customizable Hotkey and App Integration
The Picdance iPhone case also includes a customizable button, giving users quick access to frequently used apps like the camera, flashlight, or wallet. The LED screen can also flash app icons for incoming calls and messages in a pixelated style.
There’s a dedicated app where people can design, share, and download pixel images, turning it into a creative community. Users can also upload photos from their iPhones, which the app turns into pixelated icons for display.

Music-Synced Light Shows
A unique feature of the Picdance case is its music light mode. With a built-in microphone, the case listens to external music and animates the LED screen to match the rhythm. According to Statista, the global smartphone accessories market is expected to reach $128.40 billion in 2024, reflecting the growing demand for personalized mobile experiences (Statista 2024).

Availability
Constructed from tempered glass, diffusion film, LED lights, and heat-resistant glue, the Picdance iPhone case is currently available exclusively for iPhone 15 users.
