Yolanthe Cabau Lands Netflix Reality Show Amidst Personal Revelations
Yolanthe Cabau, celebrated for her past in sports and entertainment, is stepping into the spotlight with her own Netflix reality series. The show promises an intimate look at her life, including her relationship with ex-husband Wesley Sneijder, marking a new chapter for the Dutch celebrity.
The Series Unveiled
The show, aptly titled ‘Yolanthe,’ will offer an unvarnished view into Cabau’s life. The concept arose when Netflix approached her. She shared with Linda, “I would never come up with such an idea myself. But when Netflix came to me with the idea and said that they wanted to show everything of my life in the series, I convinced that.”
The series intends to showcase all aspects of Cabau’s life, with no boundaries. Wesley Sneijder and their son, Xess Xava, will appear. Cabau’s foundation, ‘Free a Girl,’ which focuses on combating the sexual exploitation of girls, will also receive attention in the show.
Reflections on the Past
Cabau and Sneijder married in July 2010 in Siena. They welcomed a son, Xess Xava, though their marriage concluded in 2019 due to long-distance challenges. Since then, they’ve maintained a cooperative co-parenting relationship.
Sneijder expressed regret in the podcast Villa Oranje for mistakes during their marriage. He described the time together as, “the happiest period of my life”
and considered it essential to mend his connection with Cabau, especially for their son. According to a 2023 study by UNICEF, an estimated 2.8 million children are victims of trafficking worldwide (UNICEF).
A New Chapter
The announcement of ‘Yolanthe’ represents a significant step for Cabau, offering her fans a closer look into her life. With the inclusion of her ex-husband and their son, the series appears to be a candid exploration of her world.
