Kulonprogo HIV Cases Rise: 19 New Infections Detected

Kulonprogo Regency has reported 19 HIV-AIDS cases in 2025, with a notable number detected among residents outside the Kulonprogo health Facility (Faskes). Arif Mustofa,Head of Disease Prevention and Control Division (P2P) at the Kulonprogo Health Office,highlighted that male-to-male sexual contact accounts for a significant percentage (10-15%) of HIV-AIDS transmissions.
