Al -Marsad newspaper: The Emirati legal advisor, Dr. Fahd Al -Sabhan, revealed the extortion that a businessman was subjected to by a woman and a man who claimed to be a couple, with the aim of obtaining large sums of money.

Al -Sabhan said during his hosting on the “Arab Cast” program that the businessman was sitting in the lobby of a hotel, where he met a woman and a friendly hadiths that later developed into a dating on a private meeting in the hotel room.

He added, that the man and the woman were up to the room, and before they started any sexual relationship between them, the man was surprised by the entry of another person who claimed that he was a woman’s husband, and began to scream and accuse him of establishing an illegal relationship with his wife.

He continued, the businessman was afraid and tried to calm the situation.

He pointed out that the businessman told him that he would pay 150,000 immediately, provided that the rest will be paid later. A week later, the two parties continued again and agreed to the meeting on Jumeirah Street, but an argument took place between them during the meeting, and the police patrol coincided with the place.

He added, the police arrested them, an investigation was opened into the incident, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution, which later revealed that the man and the woman do not have a marriage relationship, and that they work together in systematic blackmailing works targeting the victims in this way.
