ABC’s High Potential is set to return for its second season in the fall, promising viewers a deeper dive into the lives and cases of the LAPD’s moast unconventional team.Stars of the show offered tantalizing hints about what’s to come when they spoke with reporters at the Disney upfronts in New York City on May 13.

Recap of Season 1

Season 1 introduced audiences to Morgan Gillroy, portrayed by Kaitlin Olson, a woman with a genius-level IQ who finds herself partnering with the LAPD to solve complex crimes. The season finale left viewers on the edge of their seats as a psychopath terrorized the city, kidnapping members of a grief counseling group, including Detective Oz, played by deniz Akdeniz.

There’s a serial killer or a game player out on the loose that we have to really resolve, and I think the start of the season will definitely address that.I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to finally bring that person to justice, considering they put me in the bottom of a pool, which I didn’t appreciate.
